Here on the Ostbrandenburg website we aim to give our visitors an idea of what the former Prussian province of Ostbrandenburg (Neumark) in Germany looked prior to it becoming part of Poland in 1945. The names of the locations featured in our website were all changed when the borders of Germany and Poland were redrawn and the German populace expelled at the end of World War Two.
